I'm sort of banking on people having lots of the books but if people are like me, they are half read on a shelf. So this affords an opportunity to use them!

Oooh great we have both those Barefoot ones already so just need to get the India one - looks good. That said it will be ages before we need them as we are taking a rather leisurely pace!

We're doing the Tin Islands story today - we've read the sections in Usborne's Encyclopedia of World History and Book of World History about Phoenicia and labelled a map of the Mediterranean from Enchanted Learning with places we've read about that are relevant to bronze.

You know Merry it is really working. Emma loves these books we have a different poetry book and don't have the Ireland book - Britannia's on it's way but the rest.. We have gone through half of the world stories already and she keeps getting me to read them again and again not just once. Emma knows each story and tells it back to me. She can also remember all the titles and has favourite bits in each one. But this is leading on to interests in bits of each story as it should do and she is wanting to 'learn' maths and letters etc in work books that I have lying around. I am just reading the stories as stories any time of the day at the moment but she is being pulled in to be interested in other things. So thank you for getting us started on this type of education. I am ordering the Charlotte Mason Education book too. Can you remember what the other two CM books are called yet?
