New Books

March 1, 2006

I’ve updated the schedule to the end of Week 13 (3rd break week) - this includes 2 book changes which are detailed below.

Tales of Old Ireland is replaced with a variable for you; I’m planning on doing
The Barefoot Book of Princesses and also The Barefoot Book of Pirates in succession.

Mindful as i am that i have a houseful of girls, i thoguht it might be useful to have both these books so that people could start with a gender appropriate one if it suits them better. Both books are great, with good stories for boys and girls and we’ll do one straight after the other.

Just SO is being replaced with Stories from India.

  1. Oooh great we have both those Barefoot ones already so just need to get the India one - looks good. That said it will be ages before we need them as we are taking a rather leisurely pace!

  2. I’m sort of banking on people having lots of the books but if people are like me, they are half read on a shelf. So this affords an opportunity to use them!

  3. Got the others but Stories from India arrived today - gorgeous book. I have Stories from Around the World. Does anyone know if Usborne do a series of these?
