We also did a bit on Australia last year - here is the link to the post i made that has photos of the art kath describes. http://patchofpuddles.co.uk/?p=836 We did the poems from the Read me book last night - one nice one in the style of the Journey of the Magi and also a short one on the months of the year that we might copy out and illustrate. Mark's narrated the story and is decorating round the edge of the print out with black snakes and fish and when that's dried he's going to do some dots on it with while and gold. There was a little bit about Troy in an Usborne Greek and Norse legends book we have, so we might look further at that if we get round to it.
